Whale Watching + El Limón Waterfall & Cayo Levantado | Only during the season (January – April)

FULL DAY EXCURSION

Enjoy a unique event in the Dominican Republic, the Humpback Whale Watching sanctuary who visits  our shores in Samana Bay  once a year, from January to end of  March and come to mate and to give birth to  their calves.

The experience starts leaving from your Hotels and through the Eastern plain, towards Las Cañitas de Miches.

Whale Watching: Once at the Las Cañitas Dock, we embark to go to the Whale Sanctuary, where we will remain for approximately 2 and half hours

Lunch: After the sighting, we will go to Cayo Levantado or Bacardi Island, where we will  have lunch and beach time (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes). Lunch is Buffet type and typical Dominican food.

After lunch, we board the boat again to go to the Samana Pier where the Safari Truck awaits us to go to the Ranch, where we will take a ride for about 30 minutes through the  virgin forest and along the banks of the river  until we reach the El Limon Waterfall, with a height of more than 60 meters high, to enjoy a refreshing and rejuvenating bath.

We will then return to the Ranch and board the Safari type transport and go to the Samana Pier, to start the return journey.
