Whale Watching + Cayo Levantado | Only during the season (January – April)

FULL DAY EXCURSION

Every year from January to the end of  March, the Dominican Republic has the privilege of offering a unique event: the Humpback Whale Watching, which can be enjoyed on the coasts bordering Samana and Miches.

Departing from your Hotels through the Eastern Plain, between green landscapes with large pastures and small towns, between the Mountains and the Sea, to live this unforgettable Adventure.

Our first stop is at Las Cañitas Dock to board the boat that will take us to the Humpback Whale Sanctuary, on a sea tour of around two and a half hours.

Once the sighting is over, we will head to Cayo Levantado or Isla Bacardi to enjoy a delicious typical buffet-style lunch in front of the sea. After lunch, the afternoon is to enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystalline waters of white sand or simply lie down under the shade of the Coconut Trees, enjoying a good Cuba-Libre.

At the end of the beach time in Cayo Levantado, we board the ship again, cross the Bay of Samana back to Las Cañitas Pier, and take the bus to return to the hotels in Bávaro and Bayahibe.
